A new RV manufacturer has started production in Elkhart County, bringing new jobs to Bristol with plans for continued growth over the next two years.
Boundless Recreation has launched operations at a 104,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Bristol, according to an announcement from Indiana Gov. Mike Braun on Wednesday, October 28.
The company is investing $2 million to establish and expand its operations, with plans to create up to 115 jobs by the end of 2028.
Boundless Recreation has already hired 45 employees and plans to continue hiring for various positions. According to the state, the new positions are expected to offer average salaries equivalent to 125% of the Elkhart County average.
Founded in 2025 by a team of experienced RV industry professionals, Boundless Recreation began initial production in October. The company is manufacturing fifth-wheel RVs and plans to add travel trailers to its product lineup.
Nate Nickell, founder and president of Boundless Recreation, said the company’s approach focuses on quality components, craftsmanship and customer support throughout the ownership experience.
The company joins the RV manufacturing industry in the South Bend-Elkhart region, which the state says produces approximately 80% to 88% of recreational vehicles manufactured in the United States and Canada.
